The Community Cinema is located at The Lux (120 E 1st St. N) and is available for rental starting today!


$150 for 2.5 hours
+  an additional $25 for every 30 minutes beyond that

members + non-profit partners: $100 for 2.5 hours

For the safety of our community, we ask guests to remain masked while not actively eating and drinking.
Where do we park?

If you are arriving before 5:00 pm there are metered parking spaces and free two-hour parking along 1st Street and Market Ave. If it is after 5:00 pm, all street parking is free (unless otherwise noted) and no need to put coins in the meters.

Can I bring food and drink?

Yes! Bring YOUR OWN concessions, snacks, drinks (alcohol permitted for 21+) or catering and invite your 15 guests (including yourself). Add-On and use our popcorn machine for $20.

Am I restricted to the films that are playing that weekend?

No! Choose ANY content from your own collection!

What do I do with my trash?

Please pour all liquids out in the bathroom before throwing away your trash. If you have any leftover food or large items, please take them with you or you can throw them away in The Lux’s trash bins, located at the end of the alley between the building and the parking garage.
